103-year old Ravenna pianist can no longer see the notes, but she's still playing

Dorothy Mason’s fingers joyfully tapped the keys on the baby grand piano at Ravenna’s assisted living center Friday. The 103-year-old resident bopped her shoulders, softly sang and cheerfully smiled as she played songs by memory and by ear for the other residents at Seneca Sunrise-Assisted and Independent Living of Ravenna. Mason often plays popular old tunes, such as “You Are My Sunshine,” and church hymns, such as “When the Saints Go Marching In,” in the lobby of Seneca or on her personal piano in her private room at the center.
